The task was related to the outdated design of the site, which did not fully fulfill its functionality.
In the pre-version, the site was only informational in nature, and the user had to manually enter a phone number to communicate with the services.
As an example, I will present a page for booking a romantic holiday in Spain. On the left is how the entire page looked on the old site. On the right is the upper part of the page that I made.
The updated page did not fit into one screen. To see it, just hover the mouse cursor over the image below from the dextop or take a look at the image when you are on your mobile phone.
The difficulty of the task was to systematize all the information and make it easily accessible. For example, the main page of the website looked like this:

For a more detailed comparison, I left two links to the old and new versions of the sites.
What about SEO?
When working, it was important to keep all the links of the old site, which had a five-year history and “weight” in search engines. Since the link structure has changed significantly, I used the Permalink Manager Pro plugin.
For basic SEO optimization, I used Yoast SEO, which allows you to generate sitemaps and manage metadata for each page and entry.
Since the site is based on Elementor, optimization for Core Web Vitals is difficult. WP Rocket was configured to optimize scripts, together with Lazyload, this reduced the loading time by an average of 7-10 seconds.
